About me
I’m Blake Lyle, an educator and street/documentary photographer based in Baltimore City.
My work is rooted in the quiet tensions of everyday life. I’m drawn to gesture, posture, and the ways people hold themselves, protect themselves, or unintentionally reveal something—and what those small, unspectacular moments can tell us about intimacy, power, and survival.
I’ve been photographing since 2012, always with a commitment to stillness, care, and honest observation.
